HazMat Securement Workshop on August 3rd

CTA has received a few inquiries from some member carriers requesting further clarification on how HM securement laws are being enforced by the CHP. In response to the inquiries and in an effort to provide its members with the best information, CTA has reached out to the California Highway Patrol’s (CHP) Golden Gate Division and has requested that an additional HM securement information session be presented to interested members.
The session is scheduled for Thursday, August 3rd from 10am until 2pm. The session will be held at the CHP Cordelia Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Facility, 3950 Interstate 80 eastbound, Fairfield, CA 94534. The facility is located on Interstate 80 eastbound, between Suisun Valley Road (Suisun Valley Road changes to Pittman Road to the south) and Abernathy Road (Abernathy Road changes to Chadbourne Road to the south) in Fairfield.
