Keep up to date with industry safety and compliance regulations by attending seminars that provide you with the skills and information you need.  Seminars are held in Sacramento and Ontario throughout the year.  Continuous learning should be everyone’s goal as we face fast changing technology and regulations.

SAILING THROUGH YOUR BIT is a comprehensive training seminar that will assist companies with understanding and preparing for BIT audits.  The material will be covered in-depth and a BIT Kit will be provided to each paid attendee.  Specifically, this seminar will provide the member with a complete overview of the biennial inspection process of terminals and will emphasize the four most frequent problem areas:  Driver Qualification and Discipline, Hours of Service, Maintenance, and Out-of-Service Rules.
 
DRUG & ALCOHOL SUPERVISOR REASONABLE SUSPICION TRAINING is customized for employees who supervise those involved in a safety-sensitive position, and are required to have a minimum of two hours of training on Drug and Alcohol to aid in the recognition of the signs and symptoms of substance abuse.
 
OSHA IN TRUCKING is specifically designed for transportation company personnel. Learn the proper procedures for auditing your facility for OSHA compliance including the shop, dock, yard and office areas. See what OSHA inspectors look for when they conduct an inspection. This course will cover: Tools to develop a comprehensive safety and health management program • Obtain management commitment towards safety and health • Conduct on-site safety and health/OSHA compliance audits • Correct recognized hazards • Conduct employee training and involvement programs, and develop written OSHA required safety and health programs • Comply with the recent changes to record keeping requirements.  The cost includes a three-ring binder containing check list and monitoring system to help you prepare for an OSHA inspection.
