Message from CISCA Executive Director Regarding the Upcoming Convention

I hope you are all enjoying the winter season. As you look forward to what is ahead in 2019, I hope you have marked your calendars to attend the CISCA Convention in National Harbor, Maryland, April 22-26. This is a great way to connect with others in the industry, catch up with old friends and make new friends. The upcoming issue of the magazine has an article about the convention, and some of our members have taken the time to share with the readers why they think they should attend. When you get your copy, be sure to read it.

Today, I want to share with you several great opportunities available to CISCA members during the upcoming convention. Please take a minute to read all the opportunities and commit to those you can.

1. Donate an item to the Silent Auction. Proceeds from the auction benefit the CISCA Educational Foundation, and the value of the item(s) is tax deductible to the contributors. Help bring some excitement to the days leading up to the dinner by watching people bid on the items. This was a great success last year, and attendees asked us to have an auction again this year. Please let me know if you can help with a donation. Any and all donations are appreciated.

2. Meet the Vendors (formerly called One-On-One Meetings) is a great opportunity to connect with CISCA members. Following the education sessions on Wednesday, April 24, CISCA members will have the opportunity to walk the area and talk to each vendor. Since some people will want a little more time, the second hour is reserved for appointments. Please consider securing a spot. There is no cost to CISCA members. Click here for the registration form.

3. Sponsorships are a great way to show your support for CISCA and the industry. All sponsors will be recognized as the sponsor of the CISCA Welcome Reception on Monday, April 22. What a great way to get your name in front of the CISCA Membership. For as little as $1,500, you can be a sponsor of the Welcome Reception and have your name on the sponsor banner, CISCA website and in the new CISCA App. Please consider becoming a sponsor. Click here for more information. To be included on the banner, you must commit to your sponsorship by February 15.

4. The independent manufacturers representative meetings held during the convention are a great way for you to discuss with your reps your items of importance in 2019. You know how busy your reps are promoting your product – make connecting with them easy by having a meeting at the location where they will be. Spots are still available for a meeting. Click here for the registration form.
