CLFP is requesting donated items, or monetary donations to purchase items, for CLFP’s Supplier Host Council (SHC) Golf Tournament fundraising raffle. The tournament will be held Monday, November 13, at the Brookside Golf & Country Club in Stockton, where 100% of funds raised at the raffle directly benefit CLFP’s Scholarship Program. Our organization is committed to promoting higher education by offering a Scholarship Program exclusively for full-time employees, including those who work seasonally, and their dependents who are employed by CLFP Food Processor members and the Supplier Host Council. CLFP members can provide their employees and dependents with the opportunity to earn $500 or $1,000 scholarships to pursue higher education in California. The deadline for submitting applications is September 29, 2023.
The scholarships are a small gesture of appreciation for their service in the food-processing industry. Undergraduates at accredited four-year California colleges/universities are eligible for $1,000 scholarships, while those enrolled in accredited two-year California community colleges can apply for $500 scholarships.
