The cancellation of the 2021 Food Processing Expo and Silent Auction has resulted in a significant deficit in CLFP’s Scholarship Fund. To help remedy this deficit, CLFP will host a virtual auction where bidders will have the opportunity to place bids online and have item(s) shipped. We also welcome monetary donations in lieu of physical item donations.

Julie Su, secretary of California’s Labor and Workforce Development Agency (LWDA), has been nominated to become the Deputy Secretary of the U.S. Department of Labor. It is the number two post at the federal agency and would put Su in charge of the sprawling department’s day-to-day operations, which includes Fed-OSHA.
