The CDA has appointed an interim Executive Director to provide operational leadership for the next few months.

Don Butcher, who served as CDA’s Executive Director from May 2011 to December 2020, will be supporting the work of the Board of Directors, Officers and various committees while the search for a new full-time Executive Director takes place.

"It was my honour to serve as CDA’s Executive Director in the past, and I look forward to playing a part in continuing the Association’s 25-year history of success,” he said.

Don retired from management roles in 2021 but did not leave the workforce entirely. He has served as a consultant to a number of not-for-profit organizations over the past three years, focusing largely on helping them with governance issues.
