Nova Scotia is thrilled that the CCGA is hosting this year's Damage Prevention Symposium at the Halifax Marriott Harbourfront Hotel, Halifax N.S., from November 4 - 6, 2025. This year, we've created a DIGSAFE Fund where folks like yourselves can apply to attend. We're running a campaign for donations right now that could benefit you so the fund can send a few local excavators / contractors or a nonprofit affiliate to the symposium. The Canadian Common Ground Alliance is pleased to share the CCGA National DIRT (Damage Information Reporting Tool) Report for 2023. This report, based on data submitted by stakeholders from across the country, presents the state of damage prevention in Canada by analyzing information on infrastructure damages that occurred in 2023. The report shows another year of reduction in overall damages, the fifth year in a row that we see this promising performance!
