Accurate location of underground utilities is of critical importance to the Ontario construction industry. Contractors rely on underground utility locators to accurately locate and mark underground utilities prior to excavation.

Each year ORCGA gathers Ontario’s best industry locators to compete for industry recognition, bragging rights, and cash prizes. The winners of the competition are those who properly mark the location of underground utility lines in a timely manner. The competition is broken up into four divisions: gas, power, telecommunication and water.

This year’s competition will be held at Durham College in Oshawa. The competition space is limited to 48 locator entrants.

More information and how to register for the competition will be available soon.
