Coming back from the CCBO Annual Conference always leaves me feeling excited for more, rejuvenated and inspired. and in full honesty a little bit exhausted too! Recently I’ve been reflecting on my time with CCBO, serving in various roles and having the privilege of attending many conferences over the years.

What an awesome 2018 conference, right? I don’t know about you, but I found the general sessions and education sessions very current and engaging. To those members who didn’t attend…we missed you, and you missed a great conference! I would like to say thank you for your confidence in electing me as president, and I look forward to serving you and the organization to the best of my ability in 2018-2019.

Implementing a new enterprise resource planning (ERP) system can be a risky and expensive proposition. With new products entering the market and established platforms undergoing revolutionary changes, identifying the right solution is a high-stakes undertaking with little room for error. Add to that the necessary change management to ensure you are getting full value from your investment and a complex implementation process that impacts the entire community, and it’s no wonder so many colleges approach ERP projects with dread.
