 With the closing of AACS member, Regency Beauty Institute and their 79 campuses, thousands of students, educators, and employees were impacted. Nevertheless, AACS members have generously stepped up to offer assistance to those students and employees affected by the Regency closing. AACS collected that information and have been communicating with state boards of cosmetology across the country. On a happier note, if you haven’t registered for the 2016 Annual Convention & Expo, do so today! Time is running out and the early-bird rate of $495 runs out October 7th!  This past weekend the U.S. Department of Education announced two very important webinars they will be hosting in October.
- The 1st will be "Reading Your Draft GE Debt-to-Earnings Files" on October 18th and again on October 25th
- The 2nd will be "Submitting Draft GE Debt-to Earnings Challenges" on October 20th and again on October 27th
We strongly encourage you to attend at least one webinar! The webinars will include critical information about how to use the tools provided so schools can read their data AND directions on how to submit data challenges via NSLDS.
