Message from AACS Executive Director, Adam Nelson

With the closing of AACS member, Regency Beauty Institute and their 79 campuses, thousands of students, educators, and employees were impacted. Nevertheless, AACS members have generously stepped up to offer assistance to those students and employees affected by the Regency closing. AACS collected that information and have been communicating with state boards of cosmetology across the country. If you want to offer assistance to these students, please email Brian Newman, AACS’ state advocacy consultant, at brian.carl.newman@gmail.com.

On a happier note, if you haven’t registered for the 2016 Annual Convention & Expo, do so today! Time is running out and the early-bird rate of $495 runs out October 7th! This really is going to be an amazing Convention. Great Education, networking, parties and did I mention parties? Please come and join us at the Hilton Orlando Buena Vista November 4-7th.
