Thank you to everyone who joined us in Las Vegas to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of CEA & AMP. Educators from around the country left Las Vegas this week learning and living the power of one, and returning to their schools energized and ready to share. The 2019 CEA & AMP provided educators with in-depth classes on admissions, branding, skincare and so much more.

2019 Pay it Forward Winner

Kenneth Shuler School of Cosmetology student salon educator Jared DeRaj Matthews has experienced how the power of one impacted his life as a student. And now as an educator, he is trying to do the same. In accepting the 2019 Pay it Forward award, Matthews shared how he strives to motivate his students and his community. He believes an individual’s talents, skills, and experience can equip anyone with everything they need to become outstanding.

Congratulations to Strand College of Hair Design's Founder and President Nancy Poole. Poole’s students competed at the Premiere Orlando's International Beauty Student Competition and took home several honors. 1st place in Avant Garde, 1st and 3rd place in Scarily GOREgeous, 2nd place in Cirque Du Premiere, and 2nd place in the Soak Off Gel Manicure competition. Ms. Poole has been taking her students to various state and national student competitions since her school opened in 1993. She feels that this is a huge educational opportunity and experience for her students to learn and grow.
