2019 Pay it Forward Winner

Kenneth Shuler School of Cosmetology student salon educator Jared DeRaj Matthews has experienced how the power of one impacted his life as a student. And now as an educator, he is trying to do the same. In accepting the 2019 Pay it Forward award, Matthews shared how he strives to motivate his students and his community. He believes an individual’s talents, skills, and experience can equip anyone with everything they need to become outstanding.
