Duane Morris LLP will be offering a Legal Workshop on Sunday, March 3, 2019 – the day before the kick off of the 2019 School Leaders Summit & Capitol Hill Day in Washington DC. The session will be a full day and runs from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the DoubleTree by Hilton Washington DC - Crystal City. Lunch will be provided. Space is limited so add it to your registration for Summit.

Beauty Changes Lives awards scholarships to students studying cosmetology, nails, esthetics and makeup. Did you know that scholarships are also offered for licensed professionals – including educators? Congratulations to two up and coming hairstylists awarded the Leo Passage Scholarship and recognized by Modern Salon.

Last week, Ohio’s House of Representatives amended and passed SB 255.  This occupational licensure reform measure requires the legislature to review all occupational licensure boards over a six-year period; allows an individual who has been convicted of a criminal offense to request that a licensing authority determine whether that conviction is disqualifying from obtaining a license, and; requires a licensing authority to make available on its public website a list of all criminal offenses that would disqualify an individual from obtaining a license…
