Specifically, the bill calls for the elimination of three regulations the authors view as problematic.  They include the repeal of Department of Education efforts to define gainful employment in a recognized occupation, prescribe specific assessment criteria on states through State Authorization, and the revisions to the conversion of clock hours to credit hours for purposes of determining federal student financial aid eligibility.
