Educators: 12 Hours of Methodology Training in Phoenix
For the
first time ever, there will be educator training in conjunction with the AACS
Annual Convention this year. Sunday and Monday of the event (November 16 &
17) will include 12 hours of methodology training for $149. This includes
breakfast and lunch served each day and access to the Exhibitor Showcase. The
sessions, which will be taught by CEA Chair Carol Woodard, include:
- Out With the Old & In With the New (Embracing 21st century teaching methods to make your classes relevant and exciting)
- It’s Not the Content—It’s Your Delivery! (Engaging and motivating your class even during those "boring" chapters)
- The Melting Pot Classroom: Learner Styles (Adapting your lesson plans for visual, auditory and kinesthetic learners)
- The Melting Pot Classroom: Ages and Backgrounds (Restructure your delivery based on trends and patterns different ages and backgrounds display)
- Educator Fishbowl (Learn best practices from other attendees and teach us something that is working for you)
- High Impact Learning: Be a Winning Coach (Lead your team to post-graduation success while coaching them along the way)
