Deregulation and Hour Reductions Proposed in Various States

Washington State, Tennessee and Texas have bills introduced to deregulate various areas of beauty licensure. Rhode Island has a bill introduced that would reduce the number of hours for a hairdresser’s and cosmetician’s license from 1,500 hours to 1,200.
