Businesses that purchase and install electric vehicle charging stations may be eligible for a tax credit of 30 percent of the qualifying costs, up to $30,000. The credit may be applied toward charging stations installed between January 1, 2015 and December 31, 2016. Businesses with multiple sites are allowed to use the credit at each site. Permitting and inspection fees are not qualifying costs.
