Pinnacle Nominations Deadline - New Categories Added

The nomination deadline for the 2018 BOMA/NY Pinnacle Awards is quickly approaching and two new categories have been added to the list of potential awards! Categories have been added for "mixed-use” buildings and "public assembly buildings.” Anyone in the real estate industry can submit a nomination, however, the nominee’s building owner or management company must be a BOMA/NY member in good standing. June 12 – Annual Golf Outing

BOMA New York will host its Annual Golf Outing on June 12 in Rivervale, New Jersey. The event will include brunch, golf, a cocktail segment, dinner, awards and the opportunity to mingle with other BOMA members. The event is $500 per golfer or $200 for dinner only. June 15 – June Lunch and Learn: Integral Building Approach

BOMA New York’s June Lunch and Learn event will focus on integrating building systems. Building owners and facility managers are often faced with interfacing various building systems to effectively operate their facilities. Traditionally, these systems are designed through separate specifications and different disciplines with little consideration to integration. This presentation explores the various systems and the value of integrating them to provide an improved workflow. The month’s speaker will be Jeff Hodges, of Siemens BT. Click HERE to register.

 

June 22 – Seminar: Threats Against High Rise Buildings

Terrorist attacks no longer fit into a single-method category, nor will they continue to operate on a horizontal plane. Future attacks may be against high-rise buildings that use a combination of weapons.
