Vince Sticca, Director of Chicago Regional Council of Carpenters' Training/Apprentice Program, commented, "These college partnerships are geared toward the future of the Brotherhood. Over the next several years, as our Brotherhood members get younger and more of our experienced men and women retire, there will be more opportunities available. Our journeymen are blessed with a wealth of knowledge and experience; and now with this additional college credit and the ability to obtain further education, our members will move into these positions."

Please read more about the Triton program, City Colleges program and Joliet Junior College degree program for carpenters and inform your tradesworkers of these new opportunities. Interested CRCC apprentices and journeymen should contact the Carpenters' Training Center in Elk Grove Village for an in-person consultation on what degree or continuing education path they are ultimately seeking.  Applicants must then complete an evaluation before being accepted into the program.
