PHTA UPDATES

Get access to research that is meaningful to you and your company! Pre-order the Pool Owners/Non-Owners Attitudes & Perceptions Consumer Study today. This study will answer questions like: Who is purchasing pools? What are the barriers to purchase pools and spas? Who is the most trusted source for information for pool maintenance? What percentage of owners use financing to build their pool? And what are non-pool owners planning to spend money on next year?

PHTA was on Capitol Hill, meeting representatives from Senate and House offices about worsening drought conditions and the importance of consumer incentives for items such as swimming pool and spa covers. The Water Conservation Rebate Tax Parity Act was introduced to ensure that the IRS treats water conservation rebates in the same manner as energy conservation rebates.

On Monday, PHTA's Energy Coalition submitted comments to the Department of Energy on the proposed dedicated purpose pool pump (DPPP) motor rule.
