Register today for the 88th Annual Meeting, being held at the Northern Kentucky Convention Center on March 15. We are pleased to have legendary NFL quarterback Joe Theismann as our Keynote Speaker.
The housing construction industry in Northern Kentucky cooled in 2016 as residential remodeling and commercial building heated up dramatically. "We are seeing the bright shoots of growth in Northern Kentucky, primarily in commercial activity and residential remodeling but we haven’t seen much of a rebound in new single-family housing," said Brian Miller, executive vice president of the Home Builders Association of Northern Kentucky. No matter the variety or firm handling the project, construction in Northern Kentucky is booming. One of the most ambitious development projects on the books in Northern Kentucky has to be the transformative Ovation riverfront complex. (Lane Report)

More than 350 guests attended the 18th Annual ACI/OSHA Safety Day on February 14 at Xavier University’s Cintas Center. The full-day program included three dynamic featured presentations, 10 informative break-out sessions and an expo hall with 40 industry exhibitors. Approval of the updated ACI/OSHA Partnership, designed to protect and promote safety to nearly 30,000 Ohio construction workers, was announced.

Cincinnati will build a wall above Riverside Drive in the East End after geological testing showed the hillside above the road was rapidly slipping – a threat to underground sewer and water lines that service Downtown and surrounding neighborhoods. The estimated cost of the 1,200-foot wall, which would run from Hazen Street to Vance Street: Between $5 million to $10 million, to be paid by sewer and water users. (Cincinnati Enquirer)
