The Society of American Military Engineers offers unique engineering camps designed for high school students who excel in math, science and technical courses and are interested in pursuing engineering, architecture or related fields in college.
These high energy, hands-on camps are hosted by the Army, Air Force and Marine Corps on the following dates:
U.S. Marine Corps Camp: June 19-25, 2016 at Camp Lejeune, NC
U.S. Army Camp: June 19-25, 2016 in Vicksburg, MS
U.S. Air Force Academy Camp: July 7-13, 2016 in Colorado Springs, CO
The Kittyhawk Post of The Society of American Military Engineers, based in Fairborn, Ohio, can nominate one student for each camp, and covers half of the camp registration fee and all travel costs. For information and an application, go to http://www.same.org/STEMCAMPS.
