THANK YOU TO OUR INCREDIBLE AHVAP VOLUNTEERS AS WE CELEBRATED 2025 NATIONAL VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION WEEK RECENTLY

Dear Colleagues, 

As we recently celebrated National Volunteer Week, we want to extend our deepest gratitude to our incredible AHVAP and AHVAP Certification Center Volunteers for your selfless dedication to the specialty. Over 60 volunteers serve on our Education and Clinical Practice, Nominating, Annual Conference, Membership, and Fellow Selection committees. In addition, two different Boards of Directors serve our specialty, both the AHVAP and the AHVAP Certification Center Board of Directors. Your passion, expertise, and countless hours of service are the lifeblood of our community—and the reason we continue to advance our specialty, strengthen our Association, and, most importantly, protect the patients we serve.

Over the past year, you have:

• Shaped Industry Standards: By serving on task forces, writing position statements, created a world-class professional conference, and reviewing new standards impacting our industry, you’ve ensured that value analysis remains rigorous, evidence‑driven, and aligned with best practices.
• Built a Thriving Community: From mentoring new members to leading local chapter events, you’ve fostered connections and collaboration that help every professional grow.
• Enhanced Patient Safety: Whether piloting novel product evaluation tools or contributing to infection prevention initiatives, your work has directly reduced risk at the bedside and across the entire continuum. 

None of these achievements would have been possible without your generosity—of time, talent, and heart. You’ve gone above and beyond to lend your voices, your judgment, and your unwavering commitment to excellence. Because of you, AHVAP is not just an Association; it’s a dynamic movement that’s reshaping healthcare value analysis from coast to coast.
