The AHVAP Certification Center is pleased to announce that registration for our newest Supply Chain Disruption Micro-Credential Cohort #2 is NOW OPEN. This innovative micro-credential program is the first of its kind in the medical industry, and has been developed with input from providers, manufacturers, distributors, regulators, and group purchasing organization experts. 

Our training series will consist of multiple live, interactive sessions, each focusing on a different aspect of mitigating the challenges associated with supply chain disruptions. Topics will include:

  • Core Definitions 
  • Changing Landscapes of Supply Chain
  • Addressing Unhealthy Markets
  • Principles of Category/Product Prioritization
  • Dangers of the Grey Market
  • Critical to Operations Products and Categories

Whether you are a value analysis leader, professional, consultant, industry partner, or other healthcare professional, this training series will provide you with valuable skills that you can apply in your day-to-day work and protect your patients. Disruptions in critical healthcare products impact us all, and this innovative micro-credential program is designed to facilitate mitigation strategies to maintain clinical continuity of care across the entire healthcare continuum. This course should be attended by not only healthcare value analysis professionals, but also infection preventionists, patient safety officers, healthcare risk managers, and more!

Program Accreditation/Micro-Credential: 

Upon successful completion of the entire program, attendees will receive 4.0 hours of Continuing Education towards CVAHP™ recertification or nursing licenses/certifications. Upon completion of the certification test, you will be issued a digital badge highlighting your new micro-credential through our digital badging partner-Credly.

In addition, attendees will receive the following resources:

  • Electronic Participant Workbook
  • Supply Chain Disruption Mitigation Tool

The training series will take place over two weeks, with sessions held on a regular schedule. We will provide all the necessary materials and resources for you to participate fully in the training. Each participant will also complete a final project using the supply chain disruption mitigation tool and framework and apply it to a unique scenario from their facility or practice environment.

Please note that you must attend ALL of the live sessions and participate with a webcam in order to receive your continuing education credits and be eligible for the micro-credential.
