President's Message — Liz's Letter

Dear AHVAP Members and Affiliates,

We are just days away from AHVAP’s National Annual Conference and Supplier Showcase (October 26-28, 2022), and we are super excited for this live event and to see everyone again. AHVAP’s Committees have gone above and beyond to bring an outstanding educational program that truly reflects the theme of this year’s conference “Together in Value.” If you are looking for value analysis and business expertise, AHVAP’s Keynote Speaker, Susan DeVore, and AHVAP’s conference presenters will be delivering exceptional educational material. If you are contemplating or planning to become CVAHP certified, plan to attend VA-101 and VA-201 sessions or register for the CVAHP Prep Course.

AHVAP’s Board Members, Committee Chairs/Co-Chairs and Committee Members will be available to answer any questions regarding AHVAP’s membership offerings, and the Networking Receptions will give you the opportunity to mingle with value analysis colleagues and suppliers. Explore the Supplier Showcase to pursue information on new products, services, equipment and technology or even discuss potential products to take through your value analysis process. If you are anxious to strengthen your organization’s value analysis culture, AHVAP’s annual conference will guide you to best in class, leading practices.

New this year, we have Focus Group Sessions on Thursday and Friday morning where you can have an up close and intimate dialogue with some of the suppliers. When they email you, make sure to register with them directly for a seat at the table. Please make sure to attend the annual business meeting, awards ceremony and leadership forum being held on Thursday, October 27 from 4:30-5:30 p.m. to learn about your association, what we have accomplished and where we are headed. Hear the value that AHVAP brings to the healthcare community and explore opportunities that you can bring forth to AHVAP. Make sure to check out the poster presentations too! I am excited to announce who will be awarded this year’s Brooke Berson Award!
