Dear AHVAP Members and Affiliates,

Spring is in full bloom! The month of April is derived from the Latin word aperire meaning “to open,” and that is exactly what is happening right now. I am just now returning from the IDN Summit and Reverse Expo, and it was a very nice time seeing old friends and meeting new acquaintances. These networking conferences are incredibly valuable talking, sharing ideas, seeing new and innovative products, services, solutions, and aligning the industry towards our common goal of quality patient care. It is these kinds of events that allow us to share our meaningful work with one another.

The AHVAP Website continues to be “under construction,” and we are in the final testing phase of this work. Thank you to the Website Task Force members for all your patience as we work through some of the technical cutover challenges during this website transition. We should be announcing a go-live real soon, so be on the lookout. The Education and Conference committees are busy planning the annual event and selecting the best educational offerings for our members highlighting our Together in Value theme. The CVAHP Committee continues to work on educational resources and the supplemental Healthcare Value Analysis course. Value Analysis week is coming up the week of July 18, and if you want to participate or share some value successes or some fun ideas with the AHVAP Marketing Committee, please email your information to info@ahvap.com. Thank you for all the AHVAP committee work being performed by these teams. We appreciate your dedication, commitment and continued support of AHVAP.

The work happening with all the AHVAP committees and the Region Directors continues. Are you a New Member? We will host a New Member Orientation with a Live Q & A session for each of you to have all your questions answered. We are presenting that Webinar on April 27, 2022, at noon EST. Come and learn all about how to engage with your Region, your District, and the AHVAP community on best practices, tools, and all the great educational offerings your AHVAP membership has to offer you and your colleagues.

The Podcast Series and Webinars are scheduled in April so be on the lookout for those upcoming event registrations.

Please feel free to contact me with recommendations on how we can increase the value of the organization for our members, requests to share experiences or resources, or just to talk. You can reach me by email at Eisenberg.Elizabeth@scrippshealth.org.

Kind Regards,

Elizabeth Eisenberg MSN, RN CVAHP

2022 AHVAP President
