AHVAP is constantly looking for new opportunities to provide networking and collaboration in support of its foundational pillars to enhance, inform, and improve the value analysis process.

ANNOUNCING AHVAP’s first…

SPECIAL INTEREST GROUP: DATA, ANALYTICS AND FINANCE

Regardless of what type of data is needed, there are a variety of internal provider resources that are stewards of the data. This runs the gamut from clinical, reimbursement, to payer, PO, AP, pr whatever data is required to drive the single source of truth for VA – queueing up initiatives, clarifying direction, supporting V=Q/C, metrics, and margin.

The AHVAP Board has charged the creation of this inaugural SIG for provider value analysis professional and their internal resources to share insights into this critical work.

A big thank you to James Russell, RN-BC, MBA, CVAHP, Director, Clinical Resource Management at MD Anderson Cancer Center, who has agreed to facilitate monthly discussions around topics that you choose and in which you have a “special interest.”

Here’s how it will work: once scheduling details are ready, a virtual meeting invitation will be sent to AHVAP regular members. If you/your provider organization is interested, you simply accept the invitation and forward it to one or more of your internal hospital/health system key contacts asking them to join. You can use the content of this newsletter to explain this opportunity or why they are getting an invitation. The first meeting will start with asking what the initial type of data is you ask for is and how you effectively organize it. There are not right answers ─ only the sharing of practices that will resonate with how you work. We will ask for suggestions in the chat for future sessions and may even ask for case study volunteers. We will send along participation tips, e.g. no supplier names or actual pricing to assure comfort in discussions and learning.

More information to come!
