Print this Article | Send to Colleague

The vision of the founding members of AHVAP was to establish a certification to recognize the knowledge, skills and ability of Healthcare Value Analysis Professionals. The anticipation was that the end goal for all who participate in the process of Healthcare Value Analysis would strive to achieve the goal of CVAHP Certification. Where are you in this process?

New to the practice?
AHVAP offers education and resources to help you advance your skills and knowledge and provides networking opportunities to tap into guidance from experienced professional peers.

Building your Skills and Knowledge?
Value Analysis Right Now Podcasts feature 30-minute presentations by professional peers offering practical information to add to your personal toolkit of skills and knowledge. AHVAP webinars, hosted by our Regions and by our Supplier associates, provide current practice advancements and solutions for the challenges value analysis professionals face on a daily basis.

Take the Final Step
Now that you are an experienced professional, you are ready for certification and ready to be recognized for your knowledge and expertise. Need a brief review? Each year, at the Annual Conference, AHVAP offers the CVAHP Prep workshop, a 1 ½ hour review of the four pillars of value analysis: Governance and Structure, Methodology, Business Ethics and Professionalism, and Finance as a pre-conference session.  Plan to arrive a day early to the 2022 CVAHP Annual Conference in Dallas, October 26-28, to take advantage of the CVAHP Prep workshop. Once you return home, log on to the AHVAP website and follow the certification link to register and submit your application for the CVAHP Exam.

Share the Opportunity
At the end of 2021, the CVAHP Certification certificate was updated and a CVAHP lapel pin was created. The new CVAHP Certification and lapel pins were distributed to all with an active certification and will be sent to all who complete future certifications. Post your certificate on your office wall, wear your pin and encourage your professional peers to become certified

Show your pride! I Double Dog Dare You!!
For those of you who have recently been CVAHP Certified or received a new certificate and lapel pin, post a picture of your pin and certificate on your favorite social media site(s).
