Dear AHVAP Members and Affiliates,

We are just days away from AHVAP’s National Annual Conference and Supplier Showcase (October 27-29, 2021), and we are very excited for this live event and to see everyone. AHVAP’s Committees have gone above and beyond to bring a stellar educational program that truly reflects the theme of this year’s conference “360°Change; Developing a Resilient Culture.” If you are looking for educational expertise, AHVAP’s Keynote Speaker, Dr. Randy Bradley, and AHVAP’s conference presenters will be delivering exceptional educational material. If you are contemplating or planning to become CVAHP certified, plan to attend VA-101 and VA-201 sessions or register for the CVAHP Prep Course. Refer here for conference program information.

AHVAP’s Committee Chairs/Co-Chairs and committee members will be available to aid interests in AHVAP’s membership offerings, and the Networking Receptions will give you the opportunity to peer mingle with colleagues and suppliers. Explore the Supplier Showcase to pursue information on new products and technology or even discuss potential products to take through your value analysis process. If your anxious to strengthen your organization’s value analysis culture, AHVAP’s annual conference will guide you to leading practices.

Also, please make sure to attend the annual business meeting, awards ceremony and leadership forum being held Wednesday, October 27 from 3:30-5 p.m. to learn about your association, hear the value that AHVAP brings to the healthcare community, and explore opportunities that you can bring forth to AHVAP. Find out who will be awarded this year’s Brooke Berson Award!

If you are unable to attend the annual conference this year, we will surely miss you. However, plan to attend next year’s AHVAP annual conference in Dallas, Texas. Elizabeth “Liz” Eisenberg, AHVAP’s President Elect, is a great value analysis colleague who thrives on mentoring and educating. Liz will be bringing forth new educational offerings to members, affiliates and future members so keep a watch out for these upcoming opportunities in 2022 by continuing to visit www.ahvap.org

With good health,

−Susan Toomey, BSHA, CVAHP, CMRP
