Dear AHVAP Members and Affiliates,

What an exciting time to be involved with AHVAP! We have reached the mid-year point, and AHVAP’s Committees continue to strive hard toward achieving AHVAP’s 2021 strategic goals. We are restructuring the re-districting program by reconnecting our dedicated district representatives since the pandemic, to bring forth new concepts and opportunities that will re-engage regions and build up momentum for 2022. A new AHVAP Committee, Healthcare Industry Advisory Council (HIAC), has been established to inclusively interconnect healthcare organizations and subject matter experts beyond the traditional Value Analysis base. In addition, an AHVAP website taskforce team has been assessing and evaluating different website platforms to enhance the value of AHVAP’s website and to promote ease of use and member satisfaction. AHVAP Committees welcome new members, so check out AHVAP Committees at https://www.ahvap.org/page/committees and get involved!

Remember, Value Analysis week, July 19-24, 2021, is right around the corner and what a great opportunity to share your Value Analysis program experiences with AHVAP peers. Also, get an early start for AHVAP’s national annual conference as registration is now open by clicking here. We are delighted to bring forth such professional dedicated speakers within the Healthcare Value Analysis industry. This includes AHVAP’s keynote speaker, Dr. Randy Bradley, as he helps us to develop a resilient culture, identify and develop transitional professionals as we bridge the COVID-19 chasm going from a pre-COVID to post-COVID environment. We are looking forward to this live event this year and getting back to live educational programs and discussions that enhance the value of our profession.

As a dedicated Value Analysis professional, you want to ensure that you are receiving optimal value from the leading organization within the healthcare industry. AHVAP is the only nationally recognized value analysis organization that brings its members over 125 aggregated years of healthcare value analysis experience from its seasoned Value Analysis Professionals and continues to ensure that quality education, tools and programs are brought forth for the success of all AHVAP’s future Value Analysis Professionals.

With good health,

Susan A. Toomey, BSHA, CVAHP, CMRP
