Dear ASHHRA Colleagues,

ASHHRA members, I wish you a happy holiday season. The year 2021 will be remembered as a year of introspection and change as we work together to beat the pandemic. We have responded to the call to aid in getting it done, since many states have been dealing with frequent spikes, hiring pool limitations and requests for an increase of vaccinated staff.

In many professions such as athletics, music and business, we see coaching readily utilized as a tool for goal setting, growth and career development. In healthcare, physicians are often on their own to learn the ropes of running a practice, while being expected to deliver the best patient care possible. For various reasons, physician coaching has yet to catch on in a field where rates of burnout are over 40% by many measures. This webinar will define physician coaching, provide examples of how coaching skills can be used in colleague and patient interactions, and discuss the benefits to the physician, client and employer.
