Greetings, ASHHRA!
ASHHRA23 in beautiful Charlotte, N.C. is a wrap and I am so grateful for this time for us to come together, learn and grow. The Keynotes and learning sessions were insightful and practical, and the networking just filled my heart! The continued call to action we have as HR professionals keeps us on our toes, and our colleagues really keep us focused, engaged and inspired. Thank you so much to everyone who created, attended and participated in this experience. You make a difference!

Our ASHHRA association continues to focus on your needs and how to best partner and support each of you in the important work you do every day.
We continue to build out our workplace violence work with IAHSS, as we know we can have an impact on the incredible toll WPV is having in our organizations. We are also continuing to build on the great content and relevant information that is necessary in supporting your work and profession. More to come on both of these in the coming months.
I encourage you to check out the many opportunities to get involved and give back to ASHHRA. Positions are currently open on the Annual Conference Education Committee (ACEC) and Learning and Education Committee (L&EC). We’re also looking for volunteers for two-year Board of Director terms for New to the Profession, Hospital President/Executive and At-Large. The application period will open soon, so if you’re interested, please go to the website right away to apply. You can also submit a Volunteer Interest Form to receive updates about future calls for volunteers.
We know you all have choices in membership associations, thank you for choosing ASHHRA. We are collectively a special group and I am so grateful for each of you and excited to see what we can continue to do together!
