All ASLA Members with ten or more continuous years of Full Membership are eligible for Fellowship in the Society. The Florida Chapter Fellows Committee wants to know if you believe you are electable to the ASLA Council of Fellows.
 
Annually, may be awarded to one Associate or Full Member in the early stage of their professional life, who represents the highest standard of excellence, has a proven record of professional involvement, innovation, and impact, and shows potential for greater involvement, innovation, and impact.

Fitch Mid-Career Fellow: Research grants of up to $15,000 will be awarded one or more mid-career professionals who have an academic background, professional experience and an established identity in one or more of the following fields: historic preservation, architecture, landscape architecture, urban design, environmental planning, architectural history and the decorative arts. The James Marston Fitch Charitable Foundation will consider proposals for the research and/or the execution of the preservation-related projects in any of these or other allied fields.

Future Landscape Architects of America (FLAA) is looking for 1-2 professionals to work with 7th-grade students in Cape Coral, FL. There are 20 students who have been working on designs for a new greenspace on their school campus and they are so excited to share them with you!

As part of an effort to promote the East Coast Greenway multi-use path along the entire east coast of the United States, the 2017 East Coast River Relay started in Calais, Maine on Aug. 24 and will finish on Oct. 30 in Key West.
