As I prepare to end my term as Chapter President, I am truly humbled by my experience. I came in with big plans and I am proud to say that some of these have been accomplished or we have made strides toward implementing improvements to our Chapter. We still have a lot of work to do, however.
 
 
   
Welcome to the 27th and FINAL piece of my Trustee report series where I share a few notes and items from our national organization over the last month or so. Remind people who may have lapsed in their membership to rejoin and that payment options are available. FLASLA's Palm Beach Chapter, in conjunction with FLASLA Emerging Professionals and FLAA, invite you to join them to mingle with allied professionals at the Joint Societies Fall Mixer on October 27. Other organizations include FES, ASCE, WTS, AWWA, APWA, ASME, and ITE. Come network over some drinks and appetizers; we'd love to see you there! The first 70 guests to arrive will receive free drink tickets, so arrive early.
 
 
   
Please join the Tampa Chapter of ASLA and the Gulf Coast Chapter of AIA for their November Design Drinks. Members will enjoy networking with a great group of architects along with two free drinks and light bites. All will take place in an outdoor cafe setting in the park. Registration is free for ASLA members until Nov. 1. Steve Norris from Sesco, co-sponsor of the event, will be present also. See below link to sign up.
