>> Grand Junction Regional Airport terminal work nears completion
Work on a multi-million dollar renovation project at the Grand Junction Regional Airport is nearly complete after less than a year of construction. The airport budgeted roughly $5.7 million for the first major overhaul of the terminal since the current airport building opened in 1982.

>> Boeing board to call for safety changes after 737 Max crashes
For the past five months, a small committee of Boeing’s board has been interviewing company employees, safety experts and executives at other industrial organizations in an attempt to understand how the aerospace giant could design and build safer airplanes. The committee is expected to deliver its findings to the full Boeing board this week, and call for several meaningful changes to the way the company is structured.

Starting in the summer of 2020, French low cost carrier French Bee plans to begin budget service between Orly, a secondary airport on the outskirts of Paris and Newark, New Jersey.

>> Canadians boost Arizona tourism
Canada is the number one international employer in Arizona, but it also sends a lot of tourists to the state. According to the Arizona Office of Tourism (AOT), more than 970,000 Canadians traveled to Arizona in 2017 - the highest number recorded in the report, which goes back to 2012. The number of Canadians traveling to Arizona could be partially attributed to the number of direct flights between Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and Canada.

>> Yeager Airport receives Harrier hot fuel location certification
Charleston’s Yeager Airport is now a certified hot fuel location for Harrier jets. On Saturday, safety and maintenance personnel from the Marine Corps were at Yeager Airport training Capital Jet Center staff on hot fueling Harrier jets. An AV-8B Harrier from Marine Attack Squadron 231 based at Marine Corps Air Station in Cherry Point, N.C. was used in the training.
