The ACCG Workers’ Compensation Program recently launched a new grant for members’ county law enforcement officers. The Online Driver Training Incentive Grant Program will provide financial assistance to the sheriff’s training department for the purpose of reducing employees’ injuries.

The Immigration Report Collection System managed by the Department of Audits and Accounts (DOAA) will open on November 1 for the reporting period of Dec. 1, 2021 through Nov. 30, 2022. The due date to complete the report is Dec. 31, 2022. Please start preparing early to ensure that you have all the information needed to file the report by the deadline.
  
In mid-November, GEFA will open the 2023 Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) and Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) Annual Base Funding call for projects period. SRFs provide low-interest financing for water and wastewater projects. 
  
Southern Company Gas has released the 2022 Atlanta Gas Light Public Officials Survey. County officials are asked to complete the brief survey about natural gas safety to help Southern Company Gas ensure they are keeping communities safe.

The NACo Legislative Conference will take place on February 11 - 14 in Washington, D.C.  Attendees have the opportunity to engage in policy and educational sessions, interact with federal officials, and participate in congressional briefings and meetings.
