County officials may now access the official ACCG County Reconnect Conference website for information on hotels, parking, the conference agenda, and more. Be sure to check the website regularly for any updates.
  
Be sure to watch the recording of the Overview of 2022 Proposed ACCG Policy Agenda in preparation for the business session at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 13. During the business session counties will vote on the 2022 Proposed ACCG Policy Agenda, which includes the Guiding Principles, Policy Objectives, and recommended Legislative Priorities. The 2022 ACCG Policy Agenda will guide the policy team's efforts before the General Assembly.
  
The ACCG Civic Affairs Foundation is accepting applications for the 2022 Georgia County Internship Program (GCIP) through December 17, 2021.The purpose of the GCIP is to connect certain high school students, college and graduate students, and recent graduates with internship opportunities in county government.
  
November's spotlight is shining on Kelley Pattee and her experience as an intern with the Camden County Public Works Department. Because of this experience, Pattee has reconsidered her initial career plans and now seeks a career as a right-of-way coordinator for Camden County.

The Georgia Environmental Finance Authority (GEFA) is hosting a webinar series for Georgia communities interested in pursuing the WaterFirst designation. Each webinar will focus on different topics.
  
The Immigration Report Collection System managed by the Department of Audits and Accounts (DOAA) will open on November 1 for the reporting period of Dec. 1, 2021 through Nov. 30, 2021. The due date to complete the report is Dec. 31, 2021. Please start preparing early to ensure that you have all the information needed to file the report by the deadline.
