Since the inception of the Georgia Firefighters’ Cancer Program (GFCP) in 2018, ACCG has been working to enhance the program benefits and reduce the cost for its members’ firefighters. Read more to learn about future rate decreases and the incentive program that members can participate in.
  
Over $400,000 in safety grants have been awarded to eligible members in the ACCG-Group Self-Insurance Workers’ Compensation Fund (ACCG-GSIWCF). Starting in May, members have the opportunity to apply for another round of funding, even if they applied in the previous year.

The ACCG Civic Affairs Foundation is accepting grant applications for the 2021 Georgia County Internship Program (GCIP) through Dec. 31, 2020. The GCIP offers first-hand internship experiences to undergraduate and graduate level college students in county government.

A webinar series, funded by GEFA, will share tips, tools, and resources to utilities as they strive to navigate the new normal created by the COVID-19 pandemic. The one consistent piece of advice from experts has been to wash hands often and thoroughly. The Immigration Report Collection System managed by the Department of Audits and Accounts (DOAA) will open on November 1st for the reporting period of Dec. 1, 2019 through Nov. 30, 2020. The due date to complete the report is Dec. 31, 2020. Please start preparing early to ensure that you have all the information needed to file the report by the deadline.
