ACCG will be hosting the newly branded District Meetings beginning this June. Each forum will offer opportunities for county officials and state legislators to engage in discussions on significant issues faced at the local level.
  
The application window for the Employee Safety Grant Funds is open to eligible members. The grants are intented to provide financial assistance to program members for the purpose of reducing employees’ work-related injuries.

The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) is currently accepting applications for the Local Road Assistance Administration (LRA) funds. LRA funds do not require a match and will be dispersed to address local infrastructure needs. 
  
The Georgia Forestry Commission (GFC) is preparing for the summer air quality by restricting north Georgia counties from burning yard debris. Read more to see which counties are impacted by the restrictions.

The 2025 NACo Annual Conference & Exposition will take place this year in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania from July 11-14. Join ACCG staff and county peers from across the nation to discuss federal policies impacting counties, engage in general sessions, and attend mobile workshops. 
  
The United States Department of Transportation (USDOT) Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) Fiscal Year (FY) 2025 Notice of Funding Opportunity is now open for applications. The SS4A program provides grants to prevent deaths and serious injuries on roadways. Applications will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 26.
  
The Call for Projects for the Federal Lands Access Program (FLAP) in Georgia will open on Friday, May 30. FLAP was established to improve transportation facilities that provide access to, are adjacent to, or are located within Federal lands.
