The nomination deadline for the 2025 ACCG Leadership Awards has been extended to Friday, March 15. Don't miss the opportunity to recognize strong leaders in your community who go above and beyond the call of duty to serve. 
  
ACCG Insurance Programs provide safety discounts and grants to members who meet safety requirements, contributing to reduced claims and future coverage costs. Members can qualify for discounts and grants, such as a 7.5% discount for GSIWCF and a 5% discount for IRMA members, along with access to $500,000 in safety grants.
  
While most internships offer firsthand experience in your chosen field, Stacey Mitchell's internship with Meriwether County’s Tax Assessor’s Office provided a unique opportunity to apply her business skills while exploring a new area—tax assessment. The Georgia Environmental Finance Authority (GEFA) is accepting pre-applications for the Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF), Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF), and Georgia Fund until Monday, March 31. Learn more about each program and how your community can benefit from funding.
  
Your input is needed. Participate in a brief survey to aid the University of Georgia (UGA) in gathering data on water management concerns in Georgia. 
  
Restoration efforts are ongoing in several counties affected by Hurricane Helene, with the Georgia Forestry Commission leading efforts to help landowners recover and restore Georgia's forest landscape. While restoration may take time, GFC remains committed to supporting landowners in revitalizing their lands.

Sen. Ossoff is accepting requests for Fiscal Year 2026 Congressionally Directed Spending projects. Congressionally Directed Spending (CDS) projects are high-impact projects located in Georgia that can be jumpstarted or reach completion with the assistance from the Federal Government.
