The Georgia Environmental Finance Authority (GEFA) is now offering an incentive opportunity that can strengthen project applications and the security of water and wastewater systems. GEFA borrowers can earn 10 additional incentive scoring points by incorporating a cybersecurity assessment into project applications for the Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) or Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF). This incentive applies to projects that have technical components with potential cybersecurity vulnerabilities. The eligibility requirements include:
- Project must be a CWSRF or DWSRF initiative.
- Project must include technical infrastructure components that could be susceptible to cybersecurity threats.
- Cybersecurity assessments must be integrated into the project scope.
