The Georgia Department of Administrative Services (DOAS) Surplus Property Division oversees the redistribution and disposal of excess state and federal property. By utilizing surplus property, counties can extend their budgets and save taxpayer dollars. Available items include office equipment, furniture, electronics, construction equipment, medical supplies, and more—all at significantly reduced cost. Local governments must enroll in the program and renew their eligibility annually in order to participate.
