Apply for a NACo Policy Steering Committee

Are you interested in joining one of NACo’s Policy Committees for the 2025-2026 policy year? This week is your opportunity to select your preferred committee. The deadline for submitting your choice is noon on Friday, August 8.
Once all selections have been made, ACCG will make the appointments. Remember that you can serve on only one committee, and each committee is limited to 10 members from Georgia, excluding chairs and vice chairs. Additionally, no more than two individuals from the same county can serve on any committee. If ACCG receives more than 10 requests for a particular committee, we will prioritize appointments according to the policy set by our Board of Managers. County elected officials and active incumbents will be given priority. We will also prioritize requests based on the date and time they were submitted.
