“A Membership that Makes a Difference”
Commissioner Natalie Hall
September 2020

Commissioner Natalie Hall was elected as the District 4 Fulton County Commissioner in December of 2017. While expecting to enjoy informative meetings and make some great connections, Hall was blown away by the vast amount of tools that were available to her as an active member of the National Association of Counties (NACo). “After each meeting, I returned to my County more equipped to serve my NACo constituents. I return to Atlanta with fresh ideas, new perspectives, and a host of resources that I can utilize to implement change at the local level. The value I receive from being a member of NACo is priceless.” In addition to conferences NACO membership offers the following:
  • Representation in Washington
  • Financial Service Center Program
  • NACo County News (Bi-Weekly County Updates)
  • NACo Prescription-Health-Dental Discount Program
  • Networking with Other County Officials
  • Website and Web-Based Education
  • County Solutions, Innovations, and Best Practices
  • Data-Driven Research for Counties
  • NACo Grants Clearinghouse
NACo membership is an investment in your county's future because the association works to ensure that counties have the resources, skills, and support needed to successfully lead their communities into the future. Your county's membership with NACo saves you and your county time and money and helps you grow professionally.

County governments are the members of NACo. Once a county is a member, the benefits extend to all of the county's officials and staff. Dues are based on a county's 2010 Census population numbers and follow the calendar year — January through December.

Joining NACo is simple. Request an invoice and one will be sent. Once the invoice is paid, a welcome packet will be sent to the county with information about NACo member benefits, programs, and resources that are available, along with tips on how to become involved.

If you have specific questions about membership programs, or require an immediate invoice, please e-mail or call Kim Hall, Director of Membership, at 202.942.4221.

We invite you and your county to become NACo members –a membership that makes a difference.
