Galveston Wharves is helping fuel the state’s booming wind energy industry by moving wind turbine sections through the Port of Galveston. The Port of Vancouver USA received it’s fourth shipment of wind blades in 2019. The BBC Spring brought 102 wind blades to the port.

The Port of Nanaimo has appointed Captain Satinder Singh to the position of Vice-President, Marine Operations and Harbour Master. The Port of New Orleans and Gov. John Bel Edwards have reappointed Joseph F. Toomy to the Board of Commissioners.

More than 11 million tons of cargo passed through the state-owned public marine terminals of the Helen Delich Bentley Port of Baltimore in the past fiscal year, setting a new record as the port expands its regional economic impact. JAXPORT has achieved its best ever July container volume, with total container movements increasing 19% over the previous July. More than 116,000 TEUs moved through JAXPORT in July 2019.
