As we usher in the fall season, I would like to remind you of the many educational courses, networking, and social events offered by the Apartment Association of New Mexico ("AANM").

Under the dictates of the 7-page ordinance there is a statement that "An employer with a paid leave policy that meets or exceeds the requirements of this Ordinance is not required to provide additional paid sick leave or in any way reduce benefits provided to employees." However...the devil is in the details...

Vote Against the Proposed Sick Leave Ordinance
The Apartment Association of NM opposes the proposed sick leave ordinance as it could result in patchwork of regulations. AANM is supportive of the sick leave issue being considered by the NM Legislature.
