Seven $3,000 scholarships per academic year may be awarded to selected applicants who have been accepted as of September 2013 for their first or second year of studies at a recognized University, College, or Technical Program and meet the following criteria:

  • Applicant must be under 25 years of age at the time of application and entering their first or second year of post secondary education on a full time basis.
  • Must be a Full or Part-time employee, owner or dependent, of a WRLA retail, affiliate or associate member company.
  • All employees must have been employed with the member firm for at least one year at the time of application and each member company must be a member of the WRLA for a minimum of twelve months prior to submission deadline.

Mississauga- August 27 2013 - There was no doubt that Canada’s fastest growing distribution model is showing no signs of slowing down as over 100 Castle members from across Canada experienced the buying power of Orgill at the 2013 Fall Dealer Market. The annual Fall market was held in Boston, MA this past week taking over the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center as thousands of independent hardware retailers flocked to see the latest and greatest Orgill had to offer on the 650,000 sq ft of show floor.

WINNIPEG, MANITOBA – August 2013 – TruServ Canada will hold their Fall National Buying Market on October 5-7, 2013 at the Winnipeg Convention Centre. TruServ Canada is proud to offer independent retailers the freedom to choose from products and services to help grow their business. Over 400 major manufacturers will showcase a wide selection of the seasonal products, as well as timely specials on everyday products.

The Market will kick off with the Customer & Partner Welcome Event on Saturday with Canadian Rock band Harlequin. The Main show floor will open Sunday October 6th at 8:30 a.m. and will highlight upcoming Spring and Summer Seasonal categories and last minute specials for Fall & Christmas selling.

The dates for the Spring National Buying Market are April 12-14th, 2014 at the Winnipeg Convention Centre.
