FOCUS ON TECHNOLOGY
This article will provide IT and other related professionals a better understanding of the Microsoft Office 365 software suite so that they understand their licensing options and the pros/cons as they move forward with purchasing decisions. In the construction market, Microsoft Office is widely used across a large majority of contractors across both field and office employees. Microsoft Office 365 is an excellent licensing option for large and small companies that are looking to gain the benefits of cloud computing and reduce their overall IT expenditures.

FROM THE IT FORUM
After walking in to a server room that was at 115F this morning I am researching temperature monitors to notify me via text and email when a threshold is reached.

Curious what others use and experiences?

Fortunately we had no equipment damage but I may have some blood pressure damage.

We are moving to the hosted exchange from Microsoft. I cannot find any documentation on how to setup the Android-based phones. I was looking to send out an email with instructions.

Once our MX record is changed, on the phone we will just create a new account and use the Exchange server option then use the email address as username then the password? Do we need specific server settings like our old hosted exchange?

Any of you who have does this conversion you insight would be great.

Thanks,

Would you mind sharing what size mailboxes you allow for your users and whether you do any type of email archiving?

I’m sure everyone has experienced a change of business with more and more agencies going to Cloud Bidding systems like E-Bid and Bid-Synch.

Has anyone changed from analog fax lines to an Efax solution and who did you move to?

Obviously reliability and costs are keywords for us.

Currently we have one main analog fax line with two rollover lines attached to GFI fax software.

I would like to get away from the machines, phone lines and software.

Thanks
