Efax

Q. I’m sure everyone has experienced a change of business with more and more agencies going to Cloud Bidding systems like E-Bid and Bid-Synch.

Has anyone changed from analog fax lines to an Efax solution and who did you move to?

Obviously reliability and costs are keywords for us.

Currently we have one main analog fax line with two rollover lines  attached to GFI fax software.

I would like to get away from the machines, phone lines and software.

Thanks

A. We've used eFax Corporate for about two years now on two separate fax numbers. Great experience

A. Jim,
We moved to eFAX.  At first they wanted us to port the numbers but we talked them in to doing the leg work.  We have 50 fax numbers ported over and it works fine for us.

A. We use a multitech fax finder off our Did's from the phone company. Works great.

A. We use a Toshiba UF-8000 fax machine with an integrated fax server. This converts incoming faxes to PDF and forwards them. It’s cheap and reliable.

We don’t have an e-fax solution for outbound.

A. I’ve used eFax for years, now from my Smartphone.  Set it to the .PDF functionality and anywhere there’s a manual FAX machine I have a scanner – very useful on jobsites where I have no office.

A. We use a similar situation (Fax Finder & DID’s), faxes go to a folder and email. On bid day we have software that prints the pdf from the folders to laser printers in the bid room.

A. I moved our faxing to Ring Central. One voice line allows for multiple extensions, which allows individuals to send faxes from their e-mail client. Incoming faxes all get forwarded to a central inbox, and our front desk forwards them from there. Very cost effective and very low maintenance.
